We have currently got many projects on the go....
fiberglass mini body with a R1 motorbike engine in the back This will be made as a kit as soon as we have finished making the jigs and will be sold as kits , eventually for other bike engines.photos to follow. Class 7 autograss fiat sceicento , Twin motorbike engined powered by 2 suzuki gsxr1000.
2 xClass 5 autograss rear wheel drive minis which will have a vauxhall 1400 and a gpz gearbox in.
. Class 4 autograss minis, These have been a popular build due to the fact the cars are built ultra light and the ones which we have already done have proved very quick out of the box. We are currently on the 4th class 4 this winter so there should be a few owens minis still on the grass!
We are currently under going a complete re-build of dave edgecoms miglia in preperation for the 2008 challenge. The team have alredy been testing a few times and the lads are getting quicker ! Roll on 2008 Owens fabrication have been getting involved in the fast growing sport of drifting , We have been doing work on a few cars, mainly fitting fully welded in cages and doing some front arches for clearance ' tubbing '
We have finally got some serious power out of jim lyons 'Miglia' turbo which now uses a bmw 16v cylinder head !! This is the first time this conversion has been carried out using a turbo and if all goes well jim should be flying up the strip in avon park in a few weeks !!! good luck ! 7.5 ton Race Transporter : Race car transporter with accommodation and service for cars.
